The INSIGHT project is launching a Call for Experts inviting professionals to join a European pool of experts supporting the development of stronger, fairer and more sustainable research careers.
INSIGHT is a Horizon Europe project that brings together universities, research organisations, companies, public authorities, intermediary organisations and innovation actors to strengthen research career support, improve academia–industry cooperation and develop sustainable talent ecosystems for early-stage researchers.
Through this call, INSIGHT aims to involve stakeholders with relevant knowledge and practical experience in areas such as research careers, talent development, skills, mobility, mentoring, HR, innovation, policy and academia–industry cooperation.
Selected experts may be invited to contribute to INSIGHT activities such as workshops, consultations, mentoring and training-related activities, co-creation and validation of tools, organisational action planning, sectoral and pilot-related cooperation, policy dialogue and the development of the INSIGHT Talent Ecosystem Roadmap.
By joining the INSIGHT expert pool, participants may gain access to a European multi-stakeholder environment, connect with potential partners, increase the visibility of their expertise, exchange practical experience and identify opportunities for future cooperation. Where their expertise directly supports the development of project outputs, experts may also be credited as contributors.
The call is open to experts from academia, research organisations, companies, SMEs and start-ups, HR and talent development fields, clusters, innovation agencies, business support organisations, public authorities, policy bodies and other organisations interested in supporting research careers and stronger links between research, industry, policy and society.
The call will remain open, with applications reviewed after the following cut-off dates:
30 June 2026
30 September 2026
31 December 2026
Interested experts are invited to complete The Expression of Interest Form.
